Because of his history and the wealth of knowledge he brings to the Browns’ offense, supporters of the team are thrilled about the addition of Dorsey. In 2022, he oversaw the Buffalo Bills’ offensive scheme throughout their 13-3 season.
In the midst of their 2023 season, Dorsey was dismissed by the Bills after their record dropped to 5-5 after ten weeks following a loss to the Denver Broncos. While 5-5 isn’t terrible, head coach Sean McDermott and the Bills didn’t think it was good enough. McDermott expected more from his offense and the team that is now the four-time AFC East champion.
