good news: Minnesota Viking player give a message to his coach that his going to…..

An NFL algorithm, in its fourth season since the league expanded to 17 games, will decide the Minnesota Vikings 2024 regular-season schedule.

Like in 2022, Minnesota and every other NFC club will be required to play nine home games and eight away games, if no adjustments are made.

Once more, the calendar will feature home and away games versus division rivals, with the remaining 11 games being determined by a rotating mechanism.

The Vikings, who went 7-10 and into third place in the NFC North, will host the NFC South’s Falcons, the AFC East’s Jets, and the NFC East’s Giants, all of whom finished third in their respective divisions.

Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, and Green Bay Packers represent the NFC North; Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers represent the NFC West; Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts represent the AFC South; Atlanta Falcons represent the NFC South and New York Jets represent the AFC East are the Vikings’ home opponents.

The NFC North’s Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, and Green Bay Packers; the AFC South’s Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans; the NFC West’s Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks; Team New York Giants (NFC East)

Following the 2023 campaign, Minnesota’s record versus Chicago is 66-58-2 (including a 0-1 postseason record).

Thanks to four throwing touchdowns and one running score by rookie Fran Tarkenton, the Vikings stunned the Bears 37–13 in their maiden game as a club. But Minnesota didn’t win the series again until December 1964.

On October 12, 1969, at Wrigley Field, the Vikings achieved their first shutout ever.

In December 2021, Minnesota began a winning streak that lasted five games in October 2023, including sweeps that season and in 2022. However, in November, Chicago halted the run with a 12–10 victory at U.S. Bank Stadium.

The Vikings have an 80-43-2 record versus the Lions after 125 games as of the 2023 season.

The Vikings have a 3-2 record while playing at Detroit over the five Thanksgiving Day games in the series, which dates back to Minnesota’s first season.
