Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, had a record-breaking season even if the team did not go to the Super Bowl this season. The 2024 NFL Honors featured five candidates vying for the Most Valuable Player (MVP) title, with Allen being one of them. The event was broadcast live on February 8.
Allen landed in Las Vegas early enough to attend the Resorts World Theatre, the site of the awards presentation. Allen was nowhere to be seen as the media and fans awaited his arrival on the red carpet. He was nowhere to be found when the ceremony began.
Dan “Big Cat” Katz of Barstool Sports disclosed Allen’s whereabouts towards the conclusion of the tournament. It turns out that the 27-year-old joined Teak Yak at The Dozen Trivia Competition instead of attending the awards event.
It’s just bad. You know that I dislike doing this kind of work? stated Allen. “However, collaborating with some really cool brands is something that kind of goes along with the job.” You used to kind of think, “If I were in this position, I think it would be pretty cool to come out here and do some cool things,” when you looked at this as a child. Even if I don’t want to be here, I suppose it makes it a little better to at least be here.

Fans were anticipating to see Allen’s girlfriend, Hailee Steinfeld, in addition to being thrilled to see him in Las Vegas. Although Steinfeld and Allen made their first public appearance together in October, this would have been their first time walking the red carpet.
