This offseason, the Buffalo Bills will need a backup quarterback. They may turn to a well-known player who entered the market early.

In 2021, Trubisky was the Bills’ backup quarterback, receiving little playing time behind Josh Allen, who was quite durable. Although there was fierce competition for the former starter for the Chicago Bears and the second overall selection at the time, Trubisky was persuaded to spend a year with the coaching staff that developed Allen into a star by Bills general manager Brandon Beane.
