Sad and brutal news: buffalo bills player josh Allen finally win man of the match..

Sometimes a thing is not a thing. You know?

Buffalo Bills star quarterback Josh Allen is telling people not to read into his latest comments about his wide receivers.

Allen was just named AFC Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Bills to a statement win against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday night. The quarterback was 23 of 30 for 263 yards and four touchdowns and a 142.1 passer rating. He became the first quarterback with 200 or more passing yards and four or more passing touchdowns in a first half since doing so himself in October 2022.
He threw the ball to 10 different Bills receivers – which meant eyebrows were raised when he made post-game comments about the stat.
It’s paying dividends of what we’ve worked on throughout the entire offseason and through training camp of the ‘everybody eats’ mentality,” Allen told reporters after the win. “And, again, it could be your play this play. You never know when it’s gonna happen. And that’s the beauty of it. When guys get to buy into this and really understand, like, ‘I may not get the ball four, five times thrown to me a game, but the one or two times I do, I’m gonna have opportunities to be in the end zone.’ You know, it’s a fun and wonderful thing when you have a bunch of guys that don’t care about the stats, they don’t care about the touchdowns, and again, I think throughout practice, we’ve just had this mindset of like, ‘Hey, let’s just do things the right way and find ways to win football games. That’s what we’re doing right now.
The remarks were taken as a subtle jab at his former top receiver Stefon Diggs, who left Buffalo in a trade to the Houston Texans before the start of this season. Diggs wanted out of Buffalo after he saw his offensive output decrease toward the end of last season.

When asked about his receivers on Wednesday, Allen emphasized that his comments are not him trying to “tear down anybody.”
