TRAGIC REPORT: OHIO STATE BUCKEYES LOSES FORMER HEAD COACH AT AGE 71 DUE TO A…When Justin Fields was an Ohio State Buckeye, he was present for a number of significant occasions.

Another unforgettable moment for Fields occurred in the 2020 Allstate Sugar Bowl matchup with the Clemson Tigers. The Buckeyes’ 49-28 triumph to go to the CFP National Championship was all the more delicious because they had fallen short against the Tigers the year before.

 

“The Sugar Bowl in my final year there is my second best memory,” Fields remarked. “The previous year, we were defeated by Clemson despite my game-winning pick, but we bounced back to defeat them the next year. I made six touchdown passes. Those two times in college are my favorites.

 

Fields’ four-year, $18.8 million contract with the Bears is about to start its last season. It will be interesting to see what uniform Fields will wear in 2024, when the NFL Draft draws near—a time when deals between clubs are common.e.”
